The Chair
of Automobiles was founded in 1994 on the educational-laboratory base
of the Chair “Automobiles and R-BME “of YPI. Here students are trained
to be qualified as Junior Engineers, Bachelors of Engineering, Diplomaed
Engineers, Masters of Engineering and Research Engineers on the following
specialties:
• Servicing and Repair of Automobile Transport (17.05)-(Junior Engineer)
• Automobile-tractor Construction (15.01-(Bachelor of Engineering)
• Automobiles and Automobile Facilities (15.02)-(Bachelor of Engineering)
• Economics and Management of Enterprises (in air transport) (06.08)-(Bachelor
of Engineering)
• Operation of Flying Vehicles and Engines (13.03)-(Diplomated Engineer)
• Transport Facilities and Systems-(Master of Engineering)
• Motor Cars and Tractors-(Research-engineer)
The Chair
trains Bachelors of Engineering and Diplomated Engineers on the specialties:
• Host-transport Engineers, Building, Road Machines and Equipment (17.09)-(Bachelor
of Engineering)
• Traffic Organization (24.04)-(Bachelor of Engineering)
• Organization and Management of Transportation (24.01)-(Diplomated Engineer)

The Chair conducts the discipline “Hydraulics, Pneumohydraulic Equipment
for the students of other departments of the University.
