Construction of auto-transport facilities
The discipline considers the operation, maintenance peculiarities, the structure of auto-transport facilities.

Fundamentals of dynamics and the theory of internal combustion engines
The course considers the testing of automobile engines, separate sets, units and systems. Carrying out heat calculation of an engine and the construction of corresponding dependencies related to kinematics for a definite motor car.

The Automobile Theory
The course provides theoretical and practical knowledge concerning the operating qualities of an automobile. Application of modern methods of computer technologies in the process of theoretical calculations.

Automobile Repair
The course provides information about conveniences, the introduced equipment and organization of repair automobiles as well as contemporary methods of repair, their separate sets and autoparts. Lectures and laboratory classes are envisaged.

Operation of an Automobile
Provides the development skills and professional knowledge in the sphere of automobile transport maintenance, and also informs about the reliability of an automobile maintenance in order to increase the efficiency of its operation, decreasing the number of workers, material and financial expenses for servicing and general repair as well as economizing on fuel resources and decreasing the negative influence on the environment.

Combustible -lubricating Materials (CLM)
Selection of a correct CLM for any type of automobile and organization of the testing process for the materials according to the standards. Evaluation of maintenance characteristics of CLM.

Technological Design of Auto-transport Enterprises and Servicing Stations
The course studies the peculiarities and principles of auto-transport enterprise and servicing station design. It includes lectures and laboratory work, carrying out a course project on a definite auto-transport enterprise or a servicing station.

Calculation of an Automobile
The discipline concerns the fundamentals and methods of calculating the main units and sets of transmission automobile and undercarriage control systems.

Theory of Automatic Systems of Automobiles
The course studies the modern state of automatic control in some machinery of an automobile. Important research work in the sphere of calculation, preliminary planning of the automatic systems of an automobile is carried out.

Production Equipment in Automobile Economy
The course considers the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge concerning the structures, operation peculiarities, maintenance and calculation of the main parameters of modern production equipment used in automobile economy, repair enterprises and servicing stations.

Design and Calculation of an Automobile
Introduction of the lay-out diagram of transmission and the running gear of an automobile based on the calculations of transmission sets and the main units of control systems.

Reliability and Testing of an Automobile
Testing of new and improved structures of motor cars in the process of which the technical-economic indices of their operation and their compliance with the standards and specifications are estimated.
The course gives information about motor-cars, traction-velocity characteristics of their units, fuel economy, controllability and stability, oscillations and vibrations, noise performance, reliability, etc.

Estimation of Fuel Efficiency of Auto-transport Facilities
The course introduces the estimation of fuel efficiency of auto-transport facilities by means of calculations and experiments, study of the influence of constructive and operational factor on the fuel efficiency.

The course studies the structures of auto transport facilities, the modern requirements laid on them, maintenance peculiarities.

Flight Dynamics
The course studies the theoretical principles of flight dynamics of transport airplanes, the main flight regime, flight and technical data of an airplane, the controllability and stability characteristics, the influence of the maintenance factors on them, particular cases in flight.

The discipline considers constructions, operation principles and peculiarities of different types of gas-turbine engines (GTE).

The course gives information about the construction of flying vehicles, methods of strength calculation, construction of their systems and their operation.

The discipline studies the theory of aircraft engines, maintenance and calculation peculiarities.

Operation of Flying Vehicles and Aircraft Engines
Operation of the aircraft equipment and supervision of regulations of maintenance of flying vehicles.

Repair and Producing Practice of Flying Vehicles and Aircraft Engines
Information about take-off characteristics and technical data (ceiling, flight range, maximum speed, etc.) specification for different parts and assembling accuracy of their joints, interchangeability, assemblage the production.

Economics and Organization of Transport
The course studies the facilities and the main directions of scientific and engineering progress in automobile and railroad transport, ways of increasing work productivity and decreasing the prime cost of transportation, methods of economic substantiation of development of the mentioned spheres and also the existing organizational-legal forms of transportation enterprises.

Transportation Systems
The course studies the principles of the transporting process and the main specifications laid on transport, the basic specific elements of techniques, technology, organization and management for all kinds of transport, their achievements, current state and the perspective problems of further development as well as the problems of coordinating the work of all kinds of transport, the analysis of complex problems of transport.

Loading-Unloading Facilities
The course involves problems of efficient interaction between the mechanization and the rolling-stock facilities of automobile transport providing the reduction of downtime of automobiles and auto-trains in the points of loading and unloading and also the methods of transporting small commodities in large portions in containers and in packets and other progressive methods of organizing the transportation process favouring the increase in labour productivity.

Transport Law
The course studies the legal aspects of transportation of passengers and goods by motor and railroad transport both in the country and beyond its borders, the main normative statements and international conventions regulating the transportation process and road traffic organization, the legal aspects of transport expedition, insurance and responsibility of the parts for realizing the transportation, the controlling and regulating functions of the state in the sphere of transportation and safety of traffic, its taxing policy.

Theory of Transportation Processes and Systems
The discipline considers the principles of the theory of transportation processes and systems applied for automobile transportation, the influence of technical-maintenance indices of rolling-stock productivity and the prime cost of transportation as well as the influence of operating conditions on transportation efficiency. The problems of economic-mathematical simulation of transportation systems the main methods of linear programming used at optimization of the freight transportation process.

Freight Transportation
The course considers the theory of organization and technology of urban, highway and international freight transportation, selection methods for an efficient kind of rolling-stock and also the method of determining the productivity and the prime cost of conveyance.

Passenger Transportation Automobile
The course includes the problems concerning modern technologies and organization of passenger transport under the urban, suburban, interurban and international transportation, the role of automobile transport in the development of passenger transportation, information about the dispatcher management and control in the passenger transport.

Organization and Safety of Traffic
The discipline studies principles of traffic organization, functions and problems of traffic security system, facilities of traffic organization, the influence of psychophysiological characteristics of the driver, constructive and operational parameters of transport facilities on the traffic safety.

Interaction of Transport Kinds
The course studies the problems of interaction and coordination of transport operation under the conditions of functioning a single transport system in the country, classification and examples of interaction forms and coordination methods of operation of different types of transport, the development prospectives of this activity on the basis of rational distribution of the transportation volume, application of up-to-date technologies in the transportation process and expansion of the transport dispatch service sphere.

Transport Maintenance Characteristics of Automobile Roads
The course studies the methods of calculating the intensity and carrying capacity of automobile roads; peculiarities of constructing their linear diagrams with the help of "accident rate coefficient", methods of analyzing the influence of road conditions on traffic safety.

Construction and Maintenance of Railroads
The course studies the principles of technology and organization of road works, accomplished in the course of current maintenance and road repair, methods of their design, machines and mechanisms to be applied, the main information about the industrial bases, enterprises, planning and management in road economy, maintenance of the road in the period of temporary operation.

Service in Railroad Transport
The course gives information about passenger transportation, tendencies of their development, management principles, constructions of passenger rolling-stocks, schemes of passenger stations and terminals, methods of normalization of mechanisms and the main devices of terminals and passenger stations. It also gives recommendations for organizing the work of passenger subsections, engineering design, transportation regulation.

Transportation Layout of Automobile Roads and Cities
The course considers the layout structure and functional zoning of a city, peculiarities of the city traffic, methods of calculating the carrying capacity of the city street net work, peculiarities of crossings of the city roads and ways at different levels and the engineering equipment and vertical layout of the city streets.

Traffic Organization
The course considers the principles of traffic organization, characteristics of vehicle and pedestrian movement and methods of their investigation, as well as the devices applicable for investigations, methodology problems of organizing the traffic in the existing street-road network.

Facilities for Traffic Organization
The discipline gives the classification of the facilities for traffic organization, conditions of their application and development prospectives, engineering principles of traffic control.

Automobile Transportation
The course involves the main problems concerning the theory, organization, control and technology of transportation process of freight and passenger transportation, studies the classification of freight and the transportation cycles as components of the transportation process, the optimization criteria and the influence of various operating factors on the transportation efficiency, methods of automobile vehicle selection.

Safety of Traffic and Transport Facilities
The course studies the principal normative acts regulating the constructive safety of automobile, operating characteristics of a motor car affecting its active, passive, post-accident and ecological safety, the value of traction and brake dynamism, stability, controllability, motion smoothness and the informative character of an automobile, the dependence of traffic safety on the technical state of sets and units of an automobile, principles of State system of controlling the traffic safety.

Examination of Road Accidents
The course studies the methods of expert analysis of the main types of RA. On the basis of legislative statements it regulates the expert-autotechnicians' work, studies the functions of people carrying out an official examination of accidents in auto transport enterprises. It also describes the calculation method and the analysis of automobile motion in different road traffic situations.

Service in State Auto Inspection
The course studies the role, problems and principal functions of SAI in the organization and control of road traffic safety, organization and road-patrol duty problems, the technical supervision of SAI, the order of carrying out technical inspection of state and personal transport facilities, as well as rights and duties of SAI officials and the participants of road traffic.

Traffic Safety Service in Automobile Transport
The course studies the main types of RA in order to compare the facts about RA registered in AA with those in SAI, the analysis method of RA, the order of carrying out instructions for drivers, the duties and rights of traffic safety service officials.

Technology, Organization and Control of Railroad Transportation
The discipline considers the problems of organization and control of freight and passenger transportation by railway transport, the techniques of determining the required traction power and choice of trains with optimal weight and speed, the planning and scheduling the train operation. It also describes the facilities for the realization of the latter and the relation of railroads with other kinds of transport, the order of calculating the main transportation indices.

Rolling Stock and Locomotives
The course studies the structures, maintenance, control, repair problems and problems of railway rolling stock service, the theory of train traction, the method of traction calculation, the choice of rolling stock type and weight.

Railway Stations and Junctions
The course considers the description of devices and structures of stations, junctions and their separate elements in compliance with the progressive labour technologies, principles of constructing stations and junctions of all types, the theory of calculating their equipment and modern methods of designing new and reformed stations and junctions, taking into account the latest equipment, optimal methods of maintenance and interrelation of railways transport with other kinds of transport.

Freight Transportation
The discipline studies the essence of freight, partly the commercial work, the state of facilities of freight economy in railway transport, problems of calculating loading-unloading fronts, peculiarities of reception and depositing of luggage, arrangements to improve the use of weight-carrying capacity of carriages, peculiarities of freight transportation by containers on straight, mixed and international traffic as well as the peculiarities of mass and dangerous freight transportation, and the problems of responsibility of railroads, consignee and consigner, related to the freight delivery dates, their safety, the rational use of carriage and fulfillment of transportation plans.

Integrated Mechanization and Automation of Loading-Unloading Operations
The subject considers the loading-unloading activities at the stations, special mechanized freight yards and stores, mechanization facilities and their technical data, transportation characteristics of freight, operations, carried out with them and methods of automation and mechanization of loading-unloading operations.

Principles of Railway Design
The discipline considers the purpose and organization of economic research at designing railways, methods of optimization of transport network development , elements of the plan and line profile, methods of location survey, methods of economic estimation of design solutions, organization and technology of research and design of railways, principles of elaboration of a project to organize construction.

Rules of Operation and Traffic Safety in Railway Transport
The course studies the rules of railway operation, introduces the main statements and the operating order of railways and employees of railway transport, basic sizes, norms of maintenance of major constructions, devices and the rolling stock and the requirements laid on them, the system of organization of train movement and principles of signaling.

Hydraulics and Pneumohydraulic Equipment
The course considers the movement of liquids and gases and their balance, introduces the classification of hydromachines, as well as the model circuits of hydrodrive design. The methods of hydraulic calculations of a complex of hydro-and pneumodrives, their structure and operation principle.

Hoisting-and-transport Machines
The course gives an idea of hoisting-and-transport machines, their classification and their role in national economy.

Building Machines, Erection Facilities and Tools
The course considers the grinding and sorting of building materials, preparation of mixtures of solutions and concrete, the transporting, adjusting and tampering machines, the splicing-fid and installation works, construction of hand machines, the methods of calculation of production and building parameters of construction components; operation of machines and estimation of their technical and economic parameters, and also the data concerning the characteristic problems of labour safety and environment protection.

Excavation Machines
The course includes the principles of the earth cutting theory, the constructive description of the main machines, their value, calculations, operation parameters.

Road Machines
The course describes the road machines, their value, kinematic and power calculations, efficiency and calculation of specific indices.

Maintenance of Road-building Machines
The course considers the purposeful application of the building mechanized facilities, complex system of engineering-technical and organizational measures, to provide for maximum effectiveness of use of machine potentialities, their high reliability and safety.

Integrated Mechanization and Automation of Construction
The course considers the problems concerning the introduction of highly effective systems of machines and equipment on the basis of progressive technologies and organizational measures, complex mechanizing and automizing all the processes both the main, and the auxiliary.


Repair of Road-building Machines
The course considers the principles of production practice and the repair of building machines, providing for the minimum cost price of the process and observing the norms of safety precautions.

Gas Dynamics
The course studies the gases, their basic physicomechanical properties: density, viscosity, compressibility, and also gives general data concerning the gas mechanics. It introduces with the properties of hydrostatic pressure, differential equality of movement of ideal gas.

Metalworks
The course considers the modern principles of design, ways and approaches in calculation of metalworks of building and road machines. It calculates the strength of column systems and tin theories in cases of static and dynamic loadings.

Hydraulics and Pumps
The discipline gives an idea of hydromachines, pump structures, the principle of their operation and hydraulic calculations, the methods for solving problems concerning the liquid balance, principal laws of liquid movement and the solution of practical problems of movement on their basis.
