Rhythmic Gymnastics
Having a great success amony the youth since 1968 rhythmic gymnastics has been largely practiced on the territory of Armenia, in particular at State Engineering University of Armenia.
The
students are greatly interested in modern gymnastics. The trainings
are carried out under the supervision of qualified instructors (N. Simonyan,
G. Nersisyan and L. Avagyan). Each year about 350 students attend trainings
that are carried out for 2 hours twice a week.
Up to now, rhythmic gymnastics has had a systematic character at the
University. “Power, endurance, flexibility plus beauty” is the formula
of modern gymnastics.
