Information
The
Chair of metal-cutting tools and instruments is a constituent
part of the Machine- building Department of SEUA. The tuition
on special disciplines is carried out by 1 Ph.D Professor, 5
Ph.D., Associate Professors, 1 Senior Lecturer and 1 Assistant
Lecturer.
Teaching and subsidiary personnel: the laboratory Head, 1
foreman and 1 Laboratory Assistant. The laboratories of the
Chair are equipped with metal-cutting tools and instruments
what allows to conduct a full value teaching process. At the
same time, on the basis of the department computer center, the
computing facilities with special software packages are used.
The academic activity of the Faculty is aimed at training
qualified specialists. The Chair trains Bachelors of
Engineering, Diplomated Engineers on the specialty:
120200-Metal-cutting Tools and Instruments
Masters of Engineering on the specialty:
552900- Technology, Equipment and Automation of
Machine-building Production.
