The Chair trains Research-engineers on scientific specialties: The Chair of Automation and Integrated Mechanization of Machine-building is one of the main elements of the Machine-building Department of SEUA. The tuition on general professional and special majors is carried out by 12 Lecturers: 2 Professor Dr. Sci., 1 Professor, Ph.D., 1 Associate Professor Dr. Sci., 3 Associate Professors Ph. D., 2 Assistant Lecturer Ph. D. and 3 Assistant Lecturer. The educational process at the Chair is supported by teaching and subsidiary personnel of the Chair: the laboratory Head and a Laboratory Assistant. The Chair has seven scientific-educational laboratories: a scientific-research laboratory of ultrasonic technology and equipment, an academic laboratory of automation of production operations, an academic laboratory of robots and robotic complexes,an academic laboratory of decorative treatment of materials, an academic laboratory of the theoretical bases of heat engineering, an academic laboratory of refrigerators and an academic laboratory of cooling installations, and also the equipped scientific-educational computer center in the eighth training-and-laboratory building SEUA, transmitted to the Chair by its - publicly held company “HARWAL ENGINEERIG”. It is based on the base of the Chair: the base special research laboratory of Machine-building department “Machine-building technologies” (scientific leader Dr. Sci., Prof., S.Sh.Khristaforyan even five scientific workers), whose basic thematics “Rheological bases of an increase in the effectiveness in the technological processes”. In the Chair in the region of improvement and introduction in the branch of the industry of the RA contemporary bonds of technologies are carried out studies within the framework of state budget thematics 0414 (scientific leader Dr. Sci., Prof., B.S.Balasanyan even four scientific workers). Publicly held company “HARWAL ENGINEERIG” in its territory organized two contemporary equipped specialized audiences, where are conducted occupations for the students SEUA along the numerical programmed control, the automated electric drive and the information measuring systems, here, at the high level and based on the example of contemporary machine-building production, the practice of all levels are conducted for the students. Basic engineering composition “HARWAL ENGINEERIG” consists of the graduates of the Chair. Publicly held company “HARWAL ENGINEERIG” renders every possible aid in the organization of the scientific research work of department. Many graduates of the Chair successfully work foreign in the foremost branches of industry and confirm the high level of training specialists in SEUA. The laboratories of the Chair are equipped with robots, devices of automation and control systems of the automated and robotic complexes, digital computer and analog measuring devices, mock-ups and models of the scientific developments, executed in the Chair. Scientific research and work of masters and graduate students are carried out by the contemporary methods of registering the results also on the base of that developed by the colleagues of department by the new method of the mathematical planning of the experiment.
