International
Activity of SEUA
Since
the mid 70-s the international activity of SEUA has been realized in the
directions mentioned below:

lecturers and scientists of SEUA have worked at foreign universities; |

The lecturers and scientists of SEUA have worked in international
non-governmental organizations (UNESCO, UNIDO, etc.); |
 |
The lecturers` and scientists` probation periods at foreign universities
and firms; |
 |
The lecturers and scientists of SEUA have participated in international
conferences and exhibitions; |
 |
The
lecturers and professors of SEUA have delivered lecture courses
at foreign universities; |
 |
Cooperation with foreign universities in the frame
of agreements.During
these years the main directions of this collaboration have been
determined. They are:

exchange
of scientific information, |
 |
holding seminars,
conferences, symposiums,exhibitions, |

exchange
of specialists and students, |
 |
creating joint
training centers with foreign firms, etc. |
The first agreements on cooperation of SEUA with European universities
were signed in 1989. At present, SEUA participates in a number of
European and International Programs on University Management, Curricula
Development, and Research. The projects realized by the staff of
the University are financed by such international funds as: TACIS,
TEMPUS, COPERNICUS, IREX, The Institute of Open Society, USAID,
DAAD, COST, EUROMED, INTAS, NATO, USIA, CRDF, EURASIA, ISTC, Mac
Arthur Foundation etc.
The participation in these programs increases from year to year. Besides,
the University continuously develops the inter-university links on the
base of bilateral and multilateral agreements and widely uses possibilities
of inter-governmental agreements.
For the last few years, the number of students, probationers, postgraduate
students, lecturers and scientists, who are being trained in Sweden, France,
Italy, Germany, Great Britain and the USA has greatly increased. The scientific-technical
collaboration has greatly extended.
