THE SPORT CLUB
The student sport activities at the University are organized by the Department of Physical training and sports and by the club. 9 specialized athletic groups operate at the University – basketball, volleyball, swimming, table tennis, rhythmic gymnastics, athletics, hand-to-hand fighting, heavy athletics and ushu.

In addition, initial athletic development groups, are also organized for teachers and students. The University teams successfully participate in national competitions; republican sports day, pan-Armenian games.

SEUA SUMMER RECREATION-SPORT CAMPS
SEUA has the following summer sport and recreation camps:
“Polytechnic”, near the village Pyunik, Hrazdan region.
“Tourist”, near the village Meghradzor, Hrazdan region.
“Sailing sport” near the village Ayrivan ( Sevan Lakeshore), Gavar region.
During their summer vacations the University staff and the students can enjoy the beauty of Armenian nature spending their holidays in the resort centers of SEUA mentioned above. In the same resorts some summer training programs are organized, too.

SEUA is a multinational institution with an established tradition of respect to different people, cultures, religions and customs. To realize the cultural and sport programs, SEUA possesses a sport complex, a library, halls for concerts, “KVN”, folklore programs, etc.

Art and Culture- In the Green Hall of the University, many musical parties are held to please every taste: from classical to folklore and techno.

Try not to miss the annual folklore festival in which performers from all parts of Armenia take part. It is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with Armenian singers, music, national clothes. The language clubs organize various arrangements for those who want to study the history, languages and traditions of other countries. These meetings include presentations, exhibitions, musical and dramatic performances.

Sport- Foreign citizens go in for sports actively in 40 different sport sections operating at SEUA. Particularly, they take an active part in kinds of sports like football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and chess. Some students have won prizes at republican students’ games, in which students from all higher educational establishments take part.
Recreation-There are lots of ways to spend one’s leisure time. Excursions to different historical sites and museums in Armenia are organized. The foreign students trained at SEUA have an opportunity to participate in different concerts, show programs, activities of various clubs. They are trained on modern computer programs free of charge, beyond the curriculum.
In summer the students can have their holiday in three recreational camps of SEUA (“Polytechnic” and “Tourist” in Kotayk region and “Windserving” on the bank of lake Sevan).
Meetings of the foreign students with the representatives of their embassies have become traditional at SEUA. These meetings are often continued in the form of cultural arrangements.
The rights and duties of the foreign students trained at SEUA are much the same as those of the local students. They can use the library, sport halls, the swimming pool, the cultural complexes, the students’ polyclinic, and sport-recreational camps.
