  Objectives and Problems

YPI-SEUA Alumni Association, aimed at consolidating the SEUA graduates, was established in September, 2001 to use their organizational, financial and intellectual resources for expanding the activities of social institutions, enhancing the technological component in culture and education, as well as promoting the further development of SEUA (the assignee of YPI).

Over 2000 graduates became members of the Association, and the presentation of the latter was elucidated by Mass Media. Earlier, on the initiative of the alumni living in the USA, a local Association had been established, which, at present, is the organizational structure of the newly founded Association.

The organization of the corporate medium of the alumni, as well as the utilization of their potential for technological development are of considerable interest and have a public response among both the graduates living in the Republic and those living abroad testifying of the possibility for further development.

The further development of the Association, presupposes the realization of large-scale and long-term public actions to inform the society about the goals and problems of the Association, form public opinion, establish Association structures, and reactivate the engineering potential guaranteeing the formation of the necessary bases for the stable development.

The urgent problems of the Association are: to form its organizational structures, establish and provide communication network and information services, introduce the Western experience into the Association activities, form its positive image and public opinion guaranteeing the further stable operation of the given organization.
