Dear Members of Polytechnic

On the verge of stepping into a new century and establishing an independent state, we, members of Polytechnic, living in various places of the world, integrate into a united whole on the basis of our past, common objectives, and joint perceptions of our future.

The main goal of the Association is to bring together the graduates of Yerevan Polytechnic Institute (State Engineering University of Armenia), unite them around Alma Mater with the purpose of contributing to the further development and internationalization of the University.

In the transition period, under the conditions of inefficient budget financing, the main problem of the Association is to attract funds and attention of sponsors for the development of the University.

The members of the Alumni Association are given an opportunity to:

  • take preparatory courses and make use of social benefits of SEUA;
  • receive the newspaper “Polytechnic” containing information on the activities of the University;
  • participate in the annual meetings and activities of the graduates;
  • get information on the activities of the Association and communicate with members via electronic means of communication;
  • establish professional associations and carry out joint projects.

The numerous graduates of the University have been and still are its powers and resources.

We are looking forward to your joining our Polytechnic!

Yuri Sargsyan
SEUA Rector

One of the objectives of the social organization is to restore the research and scientific potential of the Institute, develop the relationship between the leading universities of the world, encourage the distinguished students and help them find a job. A special fund is supposed to be established that will help to find resources to microfinance the research work, and assist to the introduction and realization of the final product. The support of donor organizations including the World Bank is quite possible.

Taking into account the role of Polytechnic, training specialists for almost all the branches of National Economy, the Alumni Association intends to communicate with all the generations of the graduates and help them to be engaged in Science and Industry.

I have lived a life full of love for Polytechnic; I have spent days full of contemplations, smiles, beautiful atmosphere and rich palette. To feel and love Polytechnic, one must not only study and work there, but also communicate closely with the Polytechnic community.

Polytechnic is a unique world, and the Alumni Association has been established to join it and develop it.
