Department
of Mining Engineering and Metallurgy
The Department of Mining Engineering and Metallurgy prepares
specialists in the spheres of exploration and development of mines,
metallurgy and Material Science, Economics of mining and metallurgical
enterprises, as well as carries out adequate research work and engineering
elaborations.
The
Department includes the following chairs:
Mining Engineering
Geology and Exploration Technology
Metallurgy and Material Technology
Material Science and Heat Treatment of Metals
Economics and Management of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises.
The
specialists trained at the Chairs of the Department have the qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering, Diplomated Engineer, Master of Engineering
and Research Engineer.
