Language Clubs

English Club

The Club was established in 1996. The main goal is to teach English, acquaint the students with the culture, traditions and customs of the English-speaking countries. Classes are held in two phases – for the beginners and those already speaking English. At different times, the representatives of different countries such as the USA, England, Australia and Armenia instructed students on English. Once a month, over 100 students take part in different discussions held at the Club.

Russian Club

The Club was established in 1996. The main goal of the Club is to give high-level information about the culture, traditions and customs of the Russian people, communicate with the Russian Community in Armenia, and carry out festive arrangements. The members of the Russian Club took part in the Conference of the National Communities of Armenia and were elected to the governing bodies of the “Congress of Russian Communities” of RA and “Oda” Association. Russian musical programs are shown in the video libraries of the “Green” and “Red” halls every Tuesday.

French Club

The Club was founded in 1996. Its aim is to teach French, acquaint the students with the culture, traditions and customs of the French-speaking countries. Attached to the Club is the branch of “Engineers beyond Orders” Organization. An interesting project on the secrets of the French cuisine under the supervision of the cook of the French Embassy has been carried out. Several times the consuls of the French Embassy were invited to the Club. The members of the Club have actively participated in various arrangements organized by the French Embassy, and gone to France.

Armenian-Georgian Centre

The activities of the Centre are aimed consolidating the young people of Armenia, Georgia and the neighboring countries for a joint participation in scientific, cultural, sport, general and specialized programs. “World Culture” Program, proposed by the UNO General Assembly, is the leading trend of the Armenian-Georgian Centre. Agreements between the following institutions of Armenia and Georgia (Polytechnic, Medical, State University, Foreign Languages, and Conservatory) have been signed.

A scientific conference on “Modern Medicine and Telecommunication” is in the process of preparation. The students of Georgia have had summer holidays in the health and sport centers of SEUA. Children are taught Armenian and Georgian in the kindergardens of Armenia and Georgia. Joint tours of the winners of Armenian and Georgian international competitions have been organized. Exchanges of different HEE delegations have been made.
