The
place of the specialty in the sphere of science and engineering
Calculating machines, complexes and nets is a sphere of science
and engineering including the whole complexes of means, technologies
and methods aimed at elaboration, creation and application of up-to-date
information technologies, systems, complexes, computer nets and their
engineering design to develop the new fields of human activity, as well
as implementation and the maintenance of CM facilities and their hardware-software.
Objects of Professional Activity on the Specialty
The object of professional activity on the specialty “Calculating Machines,
Complexes and Nets” are computing systems, complexes and nets, hardware-software
means, design methods, realization and maintenance, computing nets management,
computing nets security, information transmission ways, development,
adjustment and introduction of computing nets and systems and their
elements in different spheres.

At present, the Chair of CM trains Bachelors of Engineering, Diplomaed
Engineers on the specialty “Calculating Machines, Complexes and Nets”,
Masters of Engineering on the specialty “Informatics and Computing Systems
”(specialization-hardware), Research-engineers, Scientific-researchers
on the specialization “Calculating Machines, Complexes and Nets, their
Elements and Equipment (forms of education-classroom instruction and
correspondence courses), Diplomaed Engineers, Research-engineers, Scientific-researchers
on the specialty, Junior Engineers, Bachelors, Masters, Diplomaed Engineers,
Research-engineers and Scientific-researchers.
Bachelors of Engineering on the specialty
“Calculating Machines, Complexes and Nets” must be able to solve the
following problems on the basis of acquired knowledge and skills:
Maintenance of hardware-software
means of CM.
Maintenance of computing
nets and systems of different types and configurations.
Administration and adjustment
of computing nets and their elements
Application of knowledge
of calculating machines, complexes and nets to create Web-sites, Web-design,

A Diplomaed Engineer on the specialty "Calculating
Machines, Complexes and Nets" must be able to solve the following

The position of this specialty in Science and Technology
Computing equipment
and automated system software is a field of science and technology which
includes means, ways and methods of human activity aimed at development
and application of software of (CM) and automated systems (AS),
application of computing facilities, development of new fields and methods
for CM and AS application.
Objects of Professional Activity
The objects of
professional activity for the Bachelors of Engineering on SCMAS are:
programs, programming systems and complexes, their mathematical and
algorithmic models, methods of design and realization, production
processes and maintenance in various fields.

The Bachelor of

and conversion of mathematical models of phenomena and processes for the
effective realization of the program product and carrying out
investigations by CM facilities.

and system character on the basis of contemporary methods, means and
technologies to develop the program product, systems of automated design

well as software modernization for increasing the reliability and

Chair trains engineers on computing systems and specialists for the development
of automated design systems. The graduates of the Chair acquire deep knowledge

integrated circuits (chip design) and also in the field of organization
of elements and means of electronic-computer machinery production.
